This program is to enhance the knowledge base for high school students who are studying for the NYS Biology Regents by covering the topics of the "Human Impacts" portion of the Regents. The program is taught using an easy to remember acronym "HIPPO," along with using live resident animals and artifacts from the Quogue Wildlife Refuge.
Each of the topics below are discussed with specific examples using each of the animals listed.
