10th Grade BOCES Presentation

On February 9th, 2009, Mr. Jim Matera, a representative from BOCES, held a presentation in the Alexander Hamilton Cafeteria to describe all the programs offered by BOCES. This program was presented to all tenth graders. When a student enters the eleventh grade they have the option of taking courses at BOCES. As Mr. Matera described, there are a wide variety of courses to choose from for our eleventh graders. Some of the more popular courses deal with fields such as automotive, cosmetology, culinary, and fashion.

Later this year, the Guidance Department will also organize a trip to BOCES for students who are interested in the program. This on-site visit gives our students a chance to see the campus and meet some of the instructors of the courses are interested in.
