Welcome to Alexander Hamilton Jr./Sr. High School!
As you visit our website, you will see why we take great pride in our students and staff. As part of a small school district and, as a 7-12 school, Hamilton provides the perfect setting for building strong interpersonal relationships. Our students are not just taught academics; they are known and cared for as individuals.
Small settings are also challenging ones. Our staff members work hard to offer academic and extracurricular programs that both challenge and enrich the Hamilton experience for our students. Many of our teachers are coaches and advisors; they use these opportunities to really get to know our students. Hamilton feels like family as a result-our students remain long after the last bell has rung-to volunteer, catch up on homework, and share quality time with teachers and friends.
We are committed to building upon a tradition of excellence previously recognized by the United States Department of Education, Westchester Spotlight magazine, and the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools. Currently, we are exploring ways in which to partner with parents and, with one another in professional learning communities, to ensure optimal student achievement and successful futures for all of our graduates.
