Academic Activities - Any curriculum driven activity, Math Mania, Renaissance, Pioneer Living.

Adult Game Night - A recreation night for all Adults involved in the education of out children; parents, faculty, etc.

After School Activities - Lead or help out with After-School Programs.

Back to School Night – Help prepare  PTA material, help with registration, and meet/greet to promote the PTA.

Bingo Night – Recreation for the whole family, Free Fun, Food, Hilarity, Prices & Surprises.

Book Fair – Help with the setting-up, selling, and packing up at the end.  

Copying Materials - Helping out the Board by copying materials for meetings and upcoming events.

Chaperones – Trips to Museums, Farms and other off-campus school activities.

Classroom Parent – Become a liaison for your child’s teacher and the parents in his/her class, for parties and etc.

Cultural Art – Helping out with school theatre activities, and other learning enhancement activities

Dixson’s Holiday Show – Help teachers with preparing the kids for their performance; rehearsal, dress-up, etc.

Family Activities – The entire family can attend; help by providing donation, or help out with set-up & clean-up.

Family Directory – I Agree to be included in our PTA Family Directory

5th & 6th Grade Dance – End of year dance for Grady’s Jrs. & Srs. Help with set-up and clean-up.

1st Gr. Grads – Picnic at Deluca – End of year picnic organized by 1^st Grade parents for their 1^st  Grade Graduates.

Fundraising – Reach out to companies for donations, help organize events.

Funny Bunch Reunion – Annual Pre-K fundraising events.  Mrs. Funny need volunteers to make this event a success.

Health & Safety Committee – Provide information, materials, or presentation on issues affecting our children.

Hospitality Crew – Greeting others at PTA events, preparing/proving refreshments for PTA meetings & other events.

International Night – Celebrate our cultural diversity, with music, food, performances, and a Chinese auction.

Invention Event – A Grady event, where student inventors showcase their inventions, Set-up help appreciated.

Membership – Re-Register parents & teachers, recruit new members, keep record of memberships

New Parent Reception – For all parents new to the district; need seasoned P&T to provide refreshments & hospitality.

Nominating Committee – Seek prospective PTA Board Members.

Newsletter, PTA – Gather useful news for parents & teachers, provide photos, help organize & prepare for publication

Parental Involvement Task Force – A focus driven committee of informed and supportive parents, who want to make a difference by, working on behalf of your child(ren), on important issues that matters to parents.

Picture Day – Help out the teachers and the photographer, by primping and fixing the kids for the camera.

Read with a Child – Some kids need more practice…lend an ear.

Reflections Program – National Art Program; promote participation, gather entries, prepare for award ceremony.

Refreshments Donation – Provide refreshment for PTA Events.

Scholarship Programs- Organize and prepare applications, award ceremony and certificate.

Teacher Appreciation – Provide breakfast and hospitality for the teachers in May.

Technical Assistance – Presenters, Translators, Computer tech., etc.

“Three for Me” – “I promise to donate three hour of my time, this school year to my child’s(ren) school, on behalf of  my child.”  PTA need volunteers to help coordinate this “new approach to parent involvement”

Turn-off TV Week – Help your kids to comply, help the teachers to gather the forms and reward the students’ efforts.
