• Elmsford PTA donates 384 copies of the Junie B. Jones hard cover version of Junie B. First Grader: Boo... And I Mean It to Elmsford's Pre-K through 3rd Grade students. Each student received their very own copy of the book to keep at no additional charge to children, parents or teachers in support of the school's literacy initiatives.

• Elmsford PTA is collecting all BoxTops for Education coupons. Each school is currently conducting a contest for the students that bring in the most BoxTops. The prizes for Dixson and Grady are a Toys R Us Gift Card and the Hamilton student will receive a Visa Gift Card. Please send your BoxTops in an envelope addressed to the PTA with your child's name on it.

• Elmsford PTA is collecting Campbell Soup Labels at each school for the purchase of sports equipment in support of the school's physical fitness initiatives. Please send in your labels in an envelope addressed to the PTA.

• ESL Classes are offered at Grady school through BOCES on Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 6pm-9pm. Classes begin on September 18th. For more information call (914) 332-1686.

• Elmsford Salutes Drew Watson

    Elmsford salutes Andrew Watson, Boy's Basketball Coach, on October 4th, 2006 @8pm in the Grady Library. Join us!

 

• What is Moodle?

    In response to needs of the community's stakeholders, the district is harnessing the school's technology to make available your child's course schedules, assignments and other supplemental information via the Internet using a system called Moodle. Visit the district's Moodle site today and locate your child's courses by way of the department and subject. Elmsford's Moodle.
